You guessed it ... The Royal UK Wedding is on today 19 May, 2018 !! So whether you are into "royal or not' ... it is wonderful to have that 'love energy' out in the world.  

It has inspired me to create from that feeling of "loving kindness" that the Dalai Lama so often talks about, and share it even more! No I'm not providing a link to sell this tee shirt today .... Yet, I do love to see the flowers and uplifting words combined as a message that can be put forth as a gentle reminder ... perhaps - for some -  in the most needed of times. 
So wishing you all , lots of loving kindness where ever you are in the world, and may you enjoy the day/week of 'universal energy' that is peace, love and harmony.

It is nice to have this as a big focus in the media too.  This is one of the major benefits that comes from a wedding of this kind. Much gratitude and thank you to the UK and Royal Family, which USA are now a part of 💕🙏🏽

A further note that I wish to emphasise is that the Bride's mother today .... comes from a  background of  Yoga Teaching and Social Work ...... further inspiration to share this message on this blog. May it also bring more awareness to the benefits of "Yoga" in general, and invite people worldwide to experience more of those feelings of peace and harmony that's always within us 💗 

Why clearing the mind BEFORE a walk in nature is so beneficial.

Often it is believed that a walk in nature is great to 'clear the mind' of its busy, non stop thinking. I agree with this too and yet, what if we were to turn that around? 

What are the benefits of clearing the mind BEFORE taking that walk in nature? The image beside is a photo of my environment while taking a walk as the sun was setting. 
My mind was quite clear prior to walking on this May, 2018 day as I had been participating in an emotional releasing course online. So when I ventured out on my walk ... I was able to notice my surroundings from a 'clearer awareness'. Ive walked this way on many occasions and on this particular walk I just stopped to notice the evening sun as it began to 'set'. I noticed the stillness all around and the reflection of the environment on the beach shoreline. I was able to just 'check in' with that stillness of nature , at its best, as the sun began to set. 

So, in the future I will ensure that my mind is cleared before I take that walk by applying techniques such as 'letting go' emotional releasing or meditation, and then go on out for that walk and notice nature from a deeper, more peaceful level from within my self! Kinda like nature in "High Definition" from that clear, more aware presence, of the moment!! So it's "happy walking" as you reveal that peace that is always within you! 💕
