We love the lifestyle that the physical realm of Yoga brings forth, and our aim is to create a website to share information that allows the reader to feel 'at peace' about themselves, a deepest wisdom from the inside to the outside, which is a much more effortless and joyous 'place' to function from ! Yoganess was created to inspire the feelings you get from experiencing yoga.
It is really pointing to 'mind yoga' or 'feelings yoga'. Hence, have a little 'yoganess' in your day even though you may not be in a class of yoga (as such), you can still feel 'at peace' anytime, anywhere ! You can invite within yourself that feeling of 'peace, happiness, harmony' and all the feelings associated with that 'state' of the human that is 'being' its most natural true nature and true self, and perhaps this website can guide and invite you , even more so, to 'being that', for it does not 'need' to lack, at anytime. It's also inspired by the term 'mindfulness' - mind yoga - and so it became - 'yoganess' !! Of most importance is inherent wisdom. Wisdom from the inside, for wisdom on the outside. It truly is a big focus on the emotional component of yoga/movement and living life fully !

My name is Kate, the founder of this website, and although training as a Health & PhysEd. Teacher (Aust. 1979-1982) and teaching for 13 years, my own personal journey and circumstances as a young adult caused me to have to delve quite deeply into the area of personal growth. As a result I've been fortunate to experience some profound resources, mostly based out of the USA. So, this website was created to share some of those benefits. In addition, I have found presenting from, and about, the more uplifting 'feelings' ..... allows for greater common ground, no matter what beliefs have been taught, or not taught, worldwide .... the feelings such as peace, happiness and harmony ..... are always welcomed ! Inherent wisdom teamed with external wisdom too !
